Skyla was the sweetest little angel and so was her big sister! I just love hanging out with little girls. It’s so fascinating how much they differ from boys.
Sweet little Bennett is 3 months old and just over the top adorable! He loves to play peek a boo and has the cutest smile ever! I had a great time with this adorable family at the U of A! Here are some highlights.
I was so excited when Claudia reached out to me on Instagram! All of her posts inspire me and I was so anxious to talk with her about real world stuff! We did half her shoot in her home and then we went and explored Sabino Canyon. We didn’t bring enough water, I didn’t wear the right shoes, and it was dreadfully hot day, but we saw some hawks, lots of lizards, a wasp nest, and we got some amazing images that she can cherish forever!!! She is so beautiful inside and out! Here are some of my favorites!
What a blessed Ati (grandma). All these cuties were fighting for her attention and just love her so much. Most of them are in town visiting for a couple weeks. This was a perfect time to get them all together. It wouldn’t be a normal shoot with 5 children if there wasn’t a few meltdowns and some photo boycotting, but we still managed to get overloads of adorableness!
Neon, trucker hats, sunglasses, penguins, and ice cream sundays! Just a few of the highlights of this amazing wedding.
I have to say that I love firsts and this was the first neon wedding I have shot! AND the first wedding with a penguin mascot. Lindsey and Dan are troopers. They planned a wedding while planning a move across the country. It all came together perfectly and I wish them lifetimes of happiness on their new ventures together as a married couple! Thanks to my FAV Kelly Rashka for shooting with me. Cake and cupcakes by Nothing Bundt Cakes and the flowers were by Chelsea from Wildwood and Bloom. Here are some highlights from their special day at The Buttes at Reflections.
Oh my goodness! It was so nice snuggling with baby Ezra. He fell asleep just in time for his debut and he has the most loving parents who are clearly so madly in love! Here are some of my favorites from my time with them.
Alex and Cierra were a wedding photographers dream! These families truly made us feel like we were a part of the celebration. There is nothing better then feeling so genuinely appreciated! My favorite thing about this wedding is seeing all the HUGE, blissful smiles on everyones faces. Of course, the most radiant was Cierra’s! She was such a stunning bride and Alex is just beyond head over heels for her! We started off at the Tucson Museum of Art downtown where they had the most epic first look I have ever witnessed. Tears, jumping for joy, and a lot of WOO HOO’s!!! It was amazing. The ceremony and reception were help at Site 17. I have to say that the reception was pretty epic as well! Pizza catered by Papa Murphy’s, donuts from Alvernon Donut Shop, poppers, glow sticks, and some of the sweetest dance moves ever. I am so grateful Kelly and I got to share a part in this day. Always a special thanks to my bestie Kelly Rashka for shooting with me!
I was lucky enough to photograph Avery (Evan’s big brother) when he was born and now Evan! They look so much alike! Avery showed me all of his cool trains and we even built a heart track around his baby brother. I think these two are going to be the best of friends!
I am Mimi’s biggest fan (aside from her parents of course). She is one of the happiest, most smiley babies I have ever met. This shoot was a little different because she just got back from traveling to Vietnam and she was fighting a bit of a fever:(
Regardless, she was as cute as ever and I am so thankful that I have been able to watch her grow from the very beginning of time! Here are some of the highlights from our shoot.
I met Yvette, her sister, and her ADORABLE son a few months before the wedding. I knew I was going to love shooting this wedding, but I had no idea I was going to love it so much that I cried 4 times throughout the day! I’ve never cried that much at a wedding. I met Edward that day of the wedding and while spending some time with him getting ready, I learned that he is such a kind, genuine, and one of a kind soul. The love, the emotion, the support from family and friends, and the beauty of this wedding just marinated my core! It’s so refreshing to see two people who have been through so much stay so strong and remain unbreakable. They are truly an inspiration and I live to document couples with this bond.
DJ Mark Summerset did an amazing job. Thank you to my sweet friend Alexis for second shooting with me!
