The Adorable 4 {Tucson Arizona Child and Family Photographer}

I have photographed Leighton and Emsley several times and since the last time I saw them, Emsley is now running and is seriously the best little model in front of the camera with these captivating blue eyes and radiating big smile! Their cousins Teagan and Britton got to come along this time and get in on the photo action. We sang songs, danced, rolled in the grass, and jumped all around. I decided I want to start adding some outtakes at the end of my blog posts to show some behind the scenes photo “fails” except I think they’re perfect, real moments that are hilarious. This is why I love kids. They are so raw, funny and entertaining and they’re not even trying!

Warrior Mila {Tucson Arizona Newborn and Family Photographer}

Baby Mila entered the world and had to immediately have open heart surgery. Her amazing strength and incredible doctors got her to where she is today…a healthy, happy, beautiful baby girl with 2 amazing big sisters! We couldn’t do a traditional newborn shoot since Mila was older, but we got some great ones regardless.

Max & Alexis at the Biosphere in Tucson AZ! {Tucson Arizona Wedding Photographer}

I got a call one evening early in the week asking if I happened to be available for a wedding the upcoming weekend. Luckily the shoot I already had scheduled that day was in the morning so I was able to make it! I would’ve been so incredibly sad to have missed out on this amazing, creative, lively, and once in a lifetime wedding!

There were some strings pulled to get these two lovebirds a beautiful wedding at The Biosphere 2 in Tucson Arizona. For those who haven’t been to or heard about the Biosphere, it is dedicated to the research and understanding of global scientific issues. The Biosphere 2 facility serves as a laboratory for controlled scientific studies, an arena for scientific discovery and discussion, and a far-reaching provider of public education. Its mission is to serve as a center for research, outreach, teaching and life-long learning about Earth, its living systems, and its place in the universe.

I walked into the getting ready room and immediately saw a costume hanging on the wall. I was then greeted by so many huge smiles and happy faces. Alexis, the bride, was GLOWING and her excitement was radiating from her eyes!

The bridal party all wore jumpsuits/spacesuits and they had an actual bear as a ring bear-er. The flowers by Atelier LaFleur were incredible! After the ceremony, we got to take a few pics inside the Biosphere and even though it was fairly late and dark, it was completely magical! I can’t wait to go back and visit!

The night ended at Rancho Robles. We weren’t there to join them, but I’m sure it was a party to remember!

Thanks to Alexis Perea for being my sidekick and getting some great shots!

My Babies! My Boys! {Tucson Family and Child Photographer}

Anyone who is blessed to know these boys is lucky to have them in their lives. Most of the photos I take of them are with my phone. I actually have to schedule a shoot just like I would any other clients. I had this shoot scheduled 3 other times and the days just didn’t happen to be on our side whether it was rain, tantrums, or just plain laziness! But this day was PERFECT! Good moods, beautiful clouds, and fun times!

The energy that is brewing in these bodies overwhelms me at times, but the life that these 2 little souls carry around just radiates beyond the heavens. They make me laugh, they bring me joy, and they give me purpose. To my two little sweet comedians I love you more then words could ever describe. You’re my everything. -momma

Abby & Piper Our Adorable Neighbors {Tucson Arizona Child Photographer}

Abby and Piper moved in down the street from us a little less then a year ago. They have an awesome sisterly bond and we love hanging out with them! We planned a double photoshoot/playdate with all the kids. It was more of a “run around, roll around in the grass, do cartwheels and somersaults, and get super red-faced at the golf course” kinda day, but we got some great pictures regardless:)

Jacob and Alexis are Married!! {Sierra Vista Wedding Photographer}

So happy for this adorable couple. They had an intimate church wedding in Sierra Vista surrounded by their closest family and friends. Jacob will be going into the Air Force soon and they’re expecting a beautiful baby in December! Lots of changes are coming to this family! So thankful I got to spend the afternoon with them.

The W Family! {Tucson Arizona Family and Child Photographer}

Oh I could’ve photographed this beautiful family all day! These beautiful girls are the same ages as my kiddos! King (the 1 year old), wasn’t feeling picture day, but he kept me nice and cool with his squirt bottle. I love my job because I always meet the nicest families, and what’s even cooler is finding out we literally live up the street from one another!!

The Beautiful Behan Family {Tucson Family and Child Photographer}

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this family! All I can say is I WISH I had video evidence from this shoot because the video would’ve gone viral. I will paint the picture….Driving in the car….it’s a glorious day! The sky is bright blue, the trees are overgrown and dancing in the sunlight, the world is lush and green from all the refreshing rain we have had over the past week. We park the car with smiles on our faces, turn the cars off, get out, and immediately die from the humidity and blazing sun that is shooting it’s million degree laser beams down on us. Holly jumps out of the car with missing nails and the wrong shirt, and mosquitos smell our blood and start dive bombing us. “We got this, let’s just shoot one picture over here in the hottest section of the universe and then we will find shade and we’ll be totally fine.”

Not only did I choose to shoot the 1st photo in the hottest portion of the universe, but there were also 1.5 million baby frogs and 2.3 million fire ants residing on that portion of the earth.  “Okay I got the photo, let’s go find shade!” (we’re already drenched from the gallons of sweat pouring out of every pore). Dodging the frogs, ants, and mosquitos, we find some spots along the way. Colton hates every idea I have and runs the opposite direction as fast as possible. Brynn is miserable because her shoes are giving her blisters, Brian is trying to remain calm. We got some more photos and headed to find MORE SHADE. By this point, Holly tells Brian he should just go shirtless because his shirt was so wet. As I am taking the last group of photos, bugs are attacking me from every angle. All I hear is buzzing in my ears and beetles were trying to build a nest in my hair, I’m screaming and running in circles like a damn fool and we all almost pee our pants from laughing so hard. THE END

Truly the best and worst photo shoot experience of my life.

Baby Bodie Bear! {Tucson Arizona Newborn and Family Photographer}

Bodie came into the world a week late and was 8 lbs and 11 oz of deliciousness! Such a snuggly little love! I photographed his big brother when he was born and now Noah is a big boy, running around, playing dinosaurs, and doing headstands!

So happy for this amazing family. I can’t wait to see all the photos of these sweet boys growing up together.
